The Propulsion system developed by BMC, as our commitment to cleaner environment, can be adopted to almost any conventional bicycle.

The “System” is very compact. It consists of 24 Volt “BMC” Brushless DC motor, Mounting Plate, Planetary Gearbox, Chain and Sprockets. The speed reduction is around 12:1 giving a top speed of around 30 KMPH and range of 25 km per charge. The Propulsion is provided by strong, energy efficient and maintenance free Brushless DC motor.

Needle clutch bearing is fitted to prevent forced rotation of motor when power is switched off and bike is coasting or being pedaled. This avoids motor drag resulting in increased coasting distance and reduced pedaling effort.

Bike manufacturing Cos. and Bike marketing Cos. Can easily upgrade their existing models to enhance their range to include “Electric Bike” without any significant additional investment in plant & machinery. The other accessories required for E–Bike such as Batteries, Battery Case, Thumb Operated Throttle, Battery Charger etc. are also provided as parts of the KIT to convert ordinary bike to ELECTRIC BIKE. This is “DUAL” system bike, in that you can drive with electric propulsion giving complete rest to your legs OR pedal on easy level surface and use electric propulsion to ease your effort for long drive or uphill climbing thereby extending battery life by 100% or more resulting more milage per charge.
